In Aisyah's words.. "I'm still alive".. which is as much as i can say about this lj. I have had a crazy hectic past few days. Stressing trying to get a paid assignment done. At least the first draft of it is done. My cousin had a bersanding ceremony at his house in Melawati on Saturday.. Friday night i was already at his house.. most of my relatives from johor were already there. Its on occasions like this that i realize what a HUGE family i have..and we just seem to get bigger.. my older cousins are mostly married with kids of their own.. many2 kids. Like one of my cousin so beautifully put it: "Diorang ni xde keje lain ke? Asik mengandung je :p" My aunt had 16 flower girls.. easily 10 of them are my nieces and the rest is from her husband's side of the family.. and that is not counting the boys, babies and those who were not around.  The bersanding ceremony itself was fun because its a chance to catch up with family members and of course..camwhore.

On Friday night as well, 5 of my relatives came from Surabaya to stay with us for a week. Between them, they brought along enough food to feed an army. The best part was one of my cousin (50 yr old lady) who packed some kuih for her son. It was supposed to be eaten with kelapa parut and gula melaka. She actually brought KELAPA and the PARUT in her hand carry. Obviously she got stopped by airport security. I can just imagine the expression on the poor man's face when she tried to parut the kelapa first before surrendering it.  She's not even a makcik2.. She's a very rich and well dressed lady.. wear tudung..carrying a Guess hand bag..wears make up.. which makes the scene all the more absurd. Thank god her sisters manage to convince her that she can get kelapa parut here :p. Its a scene worth drawn out i think.. *any volunteers?* hehe..

Randomness totally runs in my family. I saw my 5 year old nephew at my cousin's wedding. Last time i saw him was when he came over with his parents and siblings to slept over at my house. all 4 of them stayed in my room. He looked at me and asked: "Siapa nama awak?" and he answered his own question.."Nama awak: yang tidur dengan kita".

I foresee a very2 busy next few weeks.. assignments will be due soon as well. God help me. Ciaoz.

A few days before my 21st birthday.. i demam.. now is a few days before starting classes..demam again. I think my body is having a silent protest. Was supposed to have class today but the college made a mistake and it was not printed in our time table.. the whole class which is only 6 of us did not turn up for it. A lady from college called me to check since our lecturer was looking for us. Resceduled the class to friday morning since next monday is a public holiday. Lets see how it goes..

I just came back from Kelantan and Terengganu yesterday. Left for Kelantan on Friday morning since my cousin was having is bersanding ceremony at the bride's house that night. They officially got married last november but for some reason postponed the bersanding until now. The one on his side will be held end of this month.

A whole bunch of my relatives went to Kelantan to make up the groom's side of the family. I would say that it was the highlight of the trip because the actual ceremony itself was so so ..to put it nicely. It was supposedly going to be a "grand" affair because VIPs would be present. The bride's family are strong supporters of UMNO so they invited Annuar Musa and his wife..also Shahrizat Abdul Jalil. To me personally, it ended up looking more like they came just to show face because their party elections are coming up soon. There were all this makcik2 AJK wanita UMNO who are so excited to see Shahrizat..more so then seeing the bride and groom. Even the sitting arrangement at the long table where the bride and groom sat for their dinner was weird. Picture this.. a long table with the bride and groom at the center, Annuar Musa and his wife sat on their left and right (mengapit), then Shahrizat sat next to Annuar's wife.. my aunt and uncle sat at each end of the table. Who is the parents of the groom again? O.o why does some random politician get the center stage at someone else's wedding? At least the food was good so that was something to be thankful for.

On saturday, my family left for Terengganu since we are already in the East Coast. Stayed over for one night. Went to see the Taman Kemajuan Islam and Masjid Kristal. Where they had the replicas of the world's famous mosques/islamic historical building..Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Masjidil Haram, Masjidil Aqsa, Masjid Nabawi, Taj Mahal and a few others.. It does look grand-ish i suppose.. but technically it does not serve any practical purpose at all.. it does not even attract so many tourists..as per its intentions when it was built. Considering that Terengganu is such a "poor" state.. the billions spent on the project could be put to so much better use.

Sunday morning, before heading back to KL..my parents decided to drive to Kemaman in hope of finding some long lost relatives..not exactly lost.. my late grand mother from my mum's side had siblings in Terengganu and we have gone to visit them a LONG time ago..so my mum decided its high time we go again. Most of their old houses has been teared down and they have relocated else where. Its by a stroke of good luck that the guy whom we stopped to ask for directions was actually the son of one of mum's aunts..her cousin lah. When we mentioned the name "Kampung Mek Dayang"..he got enough sense to figure out that we might be related to him some how coz apparently once upon a time everyone there was related to each other. He took us around the area.. managed to track down some of the older relatives who are still living plus their families.

Finally reached home around 7.30'ish last nite. Now am just resting and hoping that my nose will stop running the marathon.. Ciaoz..

Again and again I sorta kinda meant to update lj but never got around to doing it.. as if i am SO busy.. more like so lazy. Never even updated about the Genting trip with Aisyah and Debbie. Both of them are in Australia already by now :p The trip was awesomely fun.. even though I still would not go on the crazy ass rides..namely rollercoasters and such. Went karaoke-ing at night... went to the arcade.. finally took sticker pictures before we left the next day. Our hotel room left much to be desired.. considering how "beautiful" our room was..it was a surprise that the hotel was SO full.. we had to wait for more than 3 hours before checking in. I guess because it had direct access to the casino so most people don't really stay in the room anyway. A large double bed took up most of the space in the room, there was a small tv, a dresser and nothing else. Our room had no view either.. it overlooks the rooms right across and they were occupied by old chinese uncle and aunties.. not exactly a pretty sight.

Fast forward to today.. had lunch at my cousin's house in Melawati.. one of them came back from Sarawak after staying there for about 3 years..last I saw him was during his wedding..now he had 2 kids. Came back around 4'ish.. my friends Toddy and Alex came over. I'm helping Alex with his final thesis. At night went to Pyramid with them plus my niece Jc for dinner at Nando's. Came back around 11..Nadz and Cat came over to lepak.. Cat just came back from Singapore yesterday..haven't seen her since forever. Had fun playing with my kittens.. all the cats were on hyper mode.

Other than that.. I got  a few other things to look forward to before class officially starts on 2nd of march.. my cousin's wedding is in Kelantan next weekend and my whole family will be going there. Ciaoz..

Feb. 14th, 2009 @ 12:38 am
Today was a long day.. started off pretty normally. Lepak in front of the tv...went online. Later in the day Grace called because she was going to Aisyah's house since she have not seen her yet. Dee also went later in the evening. Dee came to my house after she came back from Aisy's house..ended up joining my family for dinner in Hartamas. Small world that is Subang Jaya, my mum's friend who joined us for dinner was also used to be Dee's family dentist and she knew her whole family. Little did I know that everyone else who came also brought their kids along so there was a whole round of introductions to do. A whole bunch of my friends came along with their parents..and altogether there was about 20 of us. One of them came back from Washington so she gathered all her old friends for impromptu gathering. Dinner was awesome..lots of good food and random conversations. I always love seeing all this old people when they get together.. gives me faith that even though they might be busy with their everyday lives..some might not even be in the same country.. as long as that spirit of friendship and togetherness is still there..nothing can keep them apart. Anyway.. thats bout it.. Ciaoz..

Feb. 10th, 2009 @ 12:32 am

Am feeling all ranty like 2nite.. eventhough I just came back from a whole day outing.. left for Muar in the morning with my parents and aunt. Went to my mum's friend's house and art gallery.. she had a reunion with a bunch of her old friends. Real "colourful" people they are..in every sense of the word. Rainbow like if u catch my drift. His place is situated in this remote kampung in Muar.. and he refurbished an old house to be used as an art gallery and a place to train the kampung kids in the  arts..painting, dance, english language.. basically the whole point is to build up their self-confidence and instil an interest in the arts. The house itself is a formidable building packed with a whole lot of history behind it. It is the ancestral home of one man named Jaafar Talha. He is a well known lawyer during the early days of independence and one fof the earliest Malay lawyers to go to the UK and study law. There were a lot of seriously old text books and documents related to pre-independence law, collection of poems by Rudyard Kipling, Alfred Tennyson.. a treasure chest of antique books basically.

I came home and went straight out again with Nadz.. walked around Pyramid for awhile before meeting up with my friends Toddy and Alex. Another set of colourful characters. Caught up with them because I haven't seen Toddy since our semester ended almost 2 months ago. Really goes to show how much I "love" my classmates :p

Since I haven't updated for almost 2 weeks.. I shall back track abit. Nothing much went on except for the sleep over at Shu-Yin's house with Aisy and Debbie, rescuing Dee in the middle of the night from Subang KTM.. *Aisy to Dee: "How much?"* :p Spent most of the week stoning at home..was bored out of my skull at one point. My CNY holidays was spent in Johor.. followed my mum who went around visiting all her old school friend.. got myself a few ang pau's. The first house that we went to.. and I think only in Malaysia would this happen.. the host was serving ketupat, lodeh, rendang daging, kari ayam ..everything that you would expect at a typical Hari Raya open house..on top of the customary Mandarin oranges, teh kundur and the rest.

Hopefully things would perk up this next few weeks.. last month of my holidays is rolling along fairly quickly..might be the last long holidays I will ever have.. might being the key word which will be determined by whether I will continue to further my studies or start working first. A question which my mum have been bugging me with for quite some time.. I have yet to give her a satisfactory answer. I do have plans yes..but nothing definite as of now.. I would like to keep my options open so to speak..

I have many things going on in my head at random right now..and I am enjoying the way words seem to flow tonight..something which I have not felt for a LONG time.. hence the severe lack of updates.. I want to keep on writing..but nothing seems to sound right..where previously I wouldn't really care..now it just seems pointless to keep track of every stray thought and memories.. the nagging feeling that it does not really matter to anyone else but myself. I have sort of lost the initial drive that I once had..That is one may argue the main reason for a personal blog anyway.. I just feel like writing something with more substance maybe?

Anyway.. enough with the emo-ness.. twas a good day overall.. sets up my self-relflective moments mood which often triggers the need to write and rant.. always a good thing when noone is around to layan my emo-ness.. boo..

I have been procrastinating like hell ever since i got back from US..not exactly a good way to start the new year. Wanted to update about the trip obviously but neve got around to doing it yet. The fact that i am actually up at this hour and updating lj shows that my sleeping pattern is still screwed up.. only got a few hours sleep at nite..woke up around 6.30 and can't seem to sleep again. Anyway..don't know if any of you guys have seen grace's post on her blog.. i know nazi did. I'm stealing her idea. Like he said.. before its too late..a good way to start the new year..so here it goes: "share a moment or favourite memory of me in your lives". do drop a comment if you can.. and feel free to repost it on your lj's..i'll definitely reply with a comment as well. a bit random i know.. maybe it might just be what i need to get myself out of this emoness i've been in.. anyway.. hope to be seeing some of you guys for lepak sessions soon-ish.

As usual I had tons of fun in Bali but this time it was a bit more special as there were people who usually were not around. My first surprise upon arriving at the airport was seeing my cousin Noni from Jakarta..she came on the morning flight together with my dad and he did not tell me about it. She has been planning to spend raya in Bali with us since forever but only this year she manages to make it. I was happy because it means that I would not be alone waiting for my other cousins to arrive the next day from Johor. Our first night together was spent driving around town.. 5 of us girls. Me,Noni..and our 3 nieces, A'ah, Fifi and Nadifah. Checked out a couple of local boutiques or better known as Distro. Found out that apparently convenience stores are a popular hang out spot for teenagers in Denpasar. Circle K which is their local version of our 7-11 would have a bunch of guys hanging out outside the store.. my niece showed us where supposedly the good looking ones are located..but somehow we did not see any that night. Earlier we were telling ghost stories about a Thai horror movie and we dubbed the not so good looking ones as Hantu Thailand and the whole episode as Tragedi K. totally random. Stopped by to have jagung bakar by the roadside..it was pitch dark save for a few streetlights. It was fun none the less.. we headed home and just when I thought everybody wanted to crash..my niece dragged us out again to hang out at the stall outside her house.. we were abit too late because the so called cute guys have all left. As we went home the second time.. finally everyone went to bed and I called Lutfi. Managed to talk to him and caught up on stuff until my credit runs out. The next few days followed the same pattern of going out and having fun..celebrated raya.. now i'm back home..all tanned and with aching muscles due to excessive walking and swimming under hot sun.

Fast forward to today.. had a touch of flu and cough..thought of resting at home but ended up going out. Went out with Prav and Nadz to Central Market rooftop to catch indonesian band White Shoes and The Couples Company in action. One of my fave new acts so I was especially excited to catch their performance. Managed to make my way into the middle of the crowd and got a good view of the stage. The only downside is the abundance of uncivilised rempit like creatures who came to catch the other local acts. Despite the presence of security..I'm pretty sure more then half of the people who came are under the influence of something or other..its either that..or they are just naturally retarded and behave like that even when sober. There were actual pee puddles on the staircase as we make our way down. The stairs at first seems to be the better option then sharing an elevator with a whole lot of the said rempit like creatures. For some unknown reason..the elevator had a stripper pole running right through it.

Currently I'm busy planning and packing for stuff to bring to New York..am counting down the days.. can't wait.. Ciaoz..

So far holidays have been a blast.. been about 3 weeks now. Been catching up with alot of people. Having alot of random fun. This lj of mine has long been neglected but I hve no intentions of closing it down..like what Nazi said..it holds too many memories. I'm leaving for Bali tomorrow and will be back on the 11th. Going to spend alot of time travelling after this.. until the new year. Am definitely looking forward to that. This might be my last proper holiday because next year I'll be doing my internship and hopefully after that start working..no more long holidays so am definitely going to make the most of this one. Anyways.. hopefuly will start updating more as sson as i come back.. Ciaoz.

WOOHOO! I am officially done with college for this semester and am looking forward to a LONG break filled with loads of fun, friends, family and travelling.. *not in any particular order :p* Friday was the last day of college and after submitting all my assignments, went to dee's house. Ended up having lunch in Shah Alam with her and walking around SACC mall. It was fun just to walk around aimlessly and being our usual easily distracted selves.. went crazy with the nail polish testers at Elianto..ended up having four shades of blue on my nails on one hand..found a chocolate shop that sells Reese peanut butter cups.. my ultimate chocolate love.. peanut butter and chocolate are best friends. By the time we got back to my house.. it was already around 5 so just ended up chilling in my room.. a very good start to what will hopefully be an awesome holiday.. Ciaoz..

Today was a day of random fun. Started the day by lazing in front of the tv.. attempted to start an assignment..only managed to do abit of research for it. Around after maghrib.. went all the way to Selayang with the whole family plus my niece for a surprise bday party. My mum's good friend was celebrating his 54th birthday so his wife decided to throw him a party. His daughter baked 54 cupcakes and stick a candle on each one.. imagine a tray full of flaming cupcakes.. blowing that many candles on your 54th bday..lets just say the dude semput :p Came home and it was almost 1 am. Waited for my cousin and our friend to arrive from Johor.. apparently my niece contacted her long lost friend and he decided to come over since he lives nearby. I called nadz and he came over as well. We had a lepak session in the middle of the night and it went all the way until 3 am'ish before we decided to call it a night. Been a while since I felt so relaxed.. just chilled out with some of my favourite people. Ciaoz..
» Radit dan Jani
Radit

Bodoh, kalau saja aku bisa
aku akan mencintaimu seperti
angin semilir yang menyejukkan
hujan rintik yang meneduhkan
siang yang terik

Kalau saja aku bisa
aku akan mencintaimu seperti
bara yang menghangatkan
obor yang menerangi
malam dingin kelam

Jani

Tega sekali kamu, Bodoh.
Radit, bodohku,
aku tidak pernah mengharapkan kepergianmu
. Aku sanggup menghadapi setan dalam dirimu. Aku sanggup asal kau beri aku
kesempatan. Mengapa kamu tidak beri aku kesempatan? Sekali saja.

I took the lines from a scene in an Indonesian novel and movie Radit dan Jani. They are you could say a brutally romantic dynamic duo like Bonnie and Clyde. They are lovers and partners in crime. Basically the novel is about Radit a guitarist and drug addict who falls in love at first sight with Jani, a rich girl who wishes to rebel against her family. Jani left her family to be with Radit eventhough he has nothing to offer her but his unconditional love. Unfortunately, he is also in love with drugs which led to the conflict between which will he chose in the end - Jani or drugs? Anyway.. I do not intend to write a movie review but those lines particularly striked me because there are times when Jani's frustration echoed my own. Her despair at not being able to get through that block *whatever it is*. Our want alone is not enough.. there's only so much we can do I suppose. She never loses her hope until the end when Radit loses his battle and chose drugs over her. It was his choice..not hers. She has made her choice to love him but he would have the final say.. whether to accept her or otherwise.

Some people would say that Jani's character is stupid...or desperate.. choosing Radit for all his evident flaws. I would not say she's the smartest girl in town.. but she made a decision and stuck by it no matter what. She sees something in him that made all her sacrifices worth it..things that even Radit could not see in himself. She's alot stronger then what people (Radit/her family) would give her credit for.

Anyway.. I just wanted to keep it on Lj for memories purposes.. Ciaoz.

» LONG day..
Yesterday I had one of those days that seem to stretch on forever..Begin my day at 10.30'ish after my friend called me up. The first question he asked me was: "Is your brain functioning yet?" never a good way to wake someone up rite? Headed to college because I had assignments to finish. Promised my friend I would meet up with him. Got there around 11.30'ish.. started working..editing stuff for people while my friend did my indesign work. Didn't stop working until 3.30'ish.. wrapped up everything. Met Prav and Jermaine in campus..they were helping out with Javin and Jermaine's gf video shoot for their assignment. Been there done that. My friend was supposed to send me home so I waited for him while he went up to the student lounge to meet his friend. I assumed he's only going to be gone a while so sat around and lepaked with prav..ended up waiting for nearly 2 hours. The rain started..stopped and started again before he finally came back. To think I had his wallet in my bag...been telling Prav..I should have just used his money to pay for a cab and went home on my own. Finally got home at around 5. Had "lunch" since i only had 2 pieces of bread and can of coffee for the whole day.. was surviving on pure adrenaline. Aisyah came over after maghrib because she was supposed to help me finish my indesign assignment..everything started going downhill from there. First the indesign CD she brought was the CS version and the one in my college was CS2 so can't open any of my files..we decided to try and download a trial version. Started it and went out for dinner at mcd's drivethrough..came back.. the thing did not even start downloading. I started to panic and called Nadz. Thank god he was on the way from the office so we went to his house soon after he arrived. We walked to his house.. got to his front gate.. and realized that we did not dare to knock on his door. My hp did not have credit..and Aisyah left hers at my house..being the smart people that we are.. walked all the way back to my house, get her phone..then went to nadz's house AGAIN :p His indesign turned out to be CS version as well but at least he got the CS2 CD so Aisy can do it at her house. After all that drama..we walked back to my house in the drizzling rain.. aisy went home... did her magic and she smsed me at 7.30am saying that she has emailed it to me. *sigh of relief*. I finally submitted everything today and had a lovely lunch at Sakae Sushi in Pyramid courtesy of my friend Chandni. Looking forward to the weekend..Ciaoz..

Even Dee updated.. *hides in shame* hehe.. been back for more then a week and was immediately drowned under piles of assignments.. 3 are due on this friday! Thank god its progressing better then i thought..finishing one now while listening to lutfi on air from cairo. Yea he's still there for now if anyone is still keeping tabs. lol. anyway..other then that this weekend there will be a Media Carnival at my college..am looking forward to attend that. Apparently there will be performances and stalls selling cheap-ish clothes. OSixNine will have their booth. Next weekend there's another gig/show i plan to attend. The launch of Wani Ardy's Mission Confession: Ke Hadapan Bintang Jatuh project. Some of you guys might have seen it on facebook. Basically its a whole bunch of people who submitted their audio/video confessions to her and she will compile it into a video. Seems to me like a pretty interesting project and I wanted to see the final product. Anyway..that's it for now I guess. Will be busy-ish for the rest of this week..hopefully by next week the pace will slow down again.. Ciaoz..
» Selamat Hari Raya
A few more days till raya.. I'm leaving for Bali tomorrow..will be there for a week. Minal Aidzin Walfaidzin..mohon maaf zahir batin.. if i ever wronged you guys in any way. Lutfi is finally going back to Indonesia after Raya..just chatted with him one last time.. don't know when I'll talk to him again..anyway.not going to dwell on that anymore..will just go to bed. enjoy your raya people..I certainly will.. I'm on a roll.. had an awesome 2 days off with the brother and darling cousin. She has always been the one to keep me and my brother from attacking each other. Most of the time at least. Spent time taking lots of random photos together. Actually went all the way to the ss19 padang in the middle of the nite. The results of our insane-ness can be seen on my fb. Started to make jam tarts yesterday..always a sure sign that Raya is coming soon..yeay! Counting down the days to go back to Bali.. 9 more days to be exact :p Have assignments to start and hopefully finish first before leaving..am not going to take work along on holiday. Am in college now..waiting for a talk to start at 1. Long day ahead.. Ciaoz...
» Selamat Hari Malaysia people!
I was just at Stadium Kelana Jaya with my family tonight..the Selangor state government held a gathering in conjunction with celebrating Hari Malaysia which falls on 16/9. It was the day that Sabah and Sarawak officially earned their independence and joined Malaysia. Technically, the date 31st August does not hold much significance for them because at that time, they were not yet free. Anyway, I find that in the past few weeks there has been many threats made by various parties that the country will face "racial tension". People were touching on "sensitive issues". People making blatantly racist statements and got away with it.. people who reported on it got thrown into ISA. All kinds of shitty things are going on. Back to the celebration they had tonite..it was a momentous occasion because despite all the threats made that there are racial tensions and what not.. those who came tonite could see that it was all bullshit.. government propaganda through our media. There was virtually no racial segregation at all.. everyone who came were there because we are supporting one cause..the inherent need for a change. It is that spirit of togetherness that binds people together..sharing something in common that is deemed so important to make all other issues appear to be insignificant. There were speeches by the Pakatan Rakyat top leaders..Lim Kit Siang, Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim, a guy from PAS..and the closing speech by Anwar Ibrahim. At the end..everyone stood up to sing Negaraku and wave the Jalur Gemilang..shouting Merdeka. Just like it happened in Dataran Merdeka 51 years ago..

Mata kadang salah melihat.... Mulut kadang salah berucap.... Hati kadang salah menduga..... Batin yang penuh prasangka… Maafkan segala kekhilafan yang pasti ada.... ===== Mohon Maaf Lahir dan Bathin ====== MARHABAN YAA RAMADHAN Assalaamu'alaikum wr.wb.. Marhaban ya Ramadhan, Bulan dimana nafas kita menjadi tasbih, tidur kita menjadi ibadah, amal kita diterima dan do'a kita di ijabah, Mengucapkan : Maaf Zahir Batin .

Happy fasting to all my friends. May we go it through it being a better person.

My lj have been devoid of updates for an unnaturally long time. A lot of things have been going on actually. College drama is at its worst. People are increasingly showing their bitchy sides. I am going into "I don't give a damn mode". Going to stick with people who genuinely cares about me.

On the national front.. Anwar Ibrahim won the Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat and was officially sworn in as MP in parliament. I for one am throughly happy and excited to see what's going to happen come September 16. One of my lecturer was totally random and i totally love her for it. She was teaching about Copyright laws. It was the day after the PP elections and out of the blue..while writing on the board..she just turned around and said: "By the way..Anwar won. Hidup Malaysia!". The she continued writing :p I have heard many2 opinions on the possible pros and cons of a new government with Anwar as Prime Minister. All I can say is that I believe its very high time for a change and I for one am optimistic.

For the past few days, I have had many long talks with Aisyah and Nadzrin about people's perception of people and their attitude towards it. Starting from my college dramas and Aisy's problem of getting people to understand her.. we sort of came to a conclusion that people often have negative impressions of things/people that they don't understand. Why is that so? I have no idea.

Anyway.. lets just hope that my mood to write will last since I have will have a lot of time to kill this puasa month. Outdoor activities are severely restricted by the parental units. Ciaoz..

Yesterday was one of the most awesomest day I've had in a while. Feels damn good to go out and have fun with my cousins and her friend. I have been planning to go for Pesta Malam Indonesia 2 since a long time ago but didn't buy a ticket because wasn't sure who would want to go with me. Yesterday at the very last minute my cousin confirmed that she can make it in time from Johor to go with me. Cut the long-ish story short..since she has amazing contacts..the 4 of us scored VIP passes for the show. All access to the lovely air-conditioned tent where the performing artists were waiting to perform, and also hold their meet and greet session. Being the jakun stalkers that we are..obviously we didn't let the chance go to waste.Took pictures with Ungu,Slank,Sheila on 7,Jason Lo,Ella and Samsons. Watched the bands performing from the big screens inside the tent as well went out to the concert venue. The crowd as expected were about 80% indonesians..things got abit rowdy at one point but it was to be expected. We stayed far away from the center stage but still close enough to get a good view. Sheila on 7,Samsons and Ungu took the day time slot and the two main attractions, Peter Pan and Slank came on at night until closing. The crowd totally saved their energy for the night's shows because most who came were hard core Slankers. Slank is an Indonesian rock legend..comparable to Malaysia's Search. The only downside to it was the sight of the field at the end of the night..rubbish covered almost every inch of space on the ground.. its as if people never knew such a thing called the "trashcan". Not that there many to be found to begin with..but surely not to that extent. Overall it was so worth going to the show. Got lots of lovely pictures to capture the moments.. Ciaoz..

Kemalasan melanda.. my poor neglected LJ. How I have abandoned you. I was saying to Nazi yesterday when he commented on the lack of updates in my LJ.. I have been doing it old skool.A lot of random crap filling up my notebook.Attempting to write a short story.Nothing much worth sharing here.Anyway..latest updates include that I have officially started classes for almost 2 weeks now. Free-est semester so far. Only 3 days of classes a week. Long days they are though.Subjects this semester seems to be pretty okay.Advanced News Writing is fun.On an unrelated note.. I am in need of inspiration. Or rather, I need money to find inspiration :p In simpler terms..i want to go SHOPPING. Not just any random shopping.. clothes shopping at flea markets or fashion gatherings. Aisy and Grace would know what I'm talking about. Anyway..am getting into the flow of college work again..assignments,quizzes,tutorial excercises..same drill. Nothing much has changed in college except for some food stalls are missing. Already in my 5th sem..kinda amazing come to think of it. Am going to focus on doing well insyaallah. I have an invisible cloak that can turn myself invisible to "certain" people. Pretty useful that. Hope it will remain that way. Again Grace and Aisy would probably know who. Anyway.. I shall update again when the mood strikes me..Ciaoz..
